My last visit was very disappointing. We get the combo plate, with ribs pork and brisket. Every thing but the fries were cold and tough. The brisket is no longer shredded. Not a good meal at all. Hope this is not the path ray j's is going. I will give them one more chance.

Good barbecue on the hi-line. The brisket was very tender but could've used a bit more smoke.
Went there for lunch on Thursday 11/2. Ordered two brisket sandwiches. Was told they were out of brisket. It was the first day of the divisional volleyball tournament in Malta and they were oblivious to that fact. I have had good food here before but today the pulled pork we settled for did not have much of a smokey flavor and was real fatty. Also the outside of the business is cluttered with empty boxes, scattered patio furniture, garden hose, etc. To me it seems like the owners heart is not in it anymore.
